Photo Card FAQ
- How do I upload my own photos to create cards?
- It's really quite easy. On the home page, select Photo Cards. It will ask you to upload an image from your computer. Just highlight the image and click Upload. We'll do the rest!
- What kind of cards can I use my photos on?
- There are many kinds of cards you can use your photos on, including:
- Standard 5x7 card - Use your photo as the front page of a card
- Postcard - Use your photo as a postcard
- Border Card - Select a card with a border around it and the photo will upload into the right place
- Invitations - Use any photo to create invitations to any event
- Can I put more than one photo on my card?
- Sure you can. Just upload the photos one at a time and you can place the photos in different places on the card.
- Can I put my photos anywhere besides the front of the card?
- You bet. You can put your photos on the front, inside front, inside back, or back of any card.
- What kind of files can I upload?
- Your file must come in JPEG format.
- What resolution should my pictures be?
- The higher the resolution, the better the card will turn out. Remember, if you upload a photo that's low resolution, it won't look very good when it gets put on a card. A good rule of thumb is to just upload the image just as it comes from your camera without trying to manipulate it in Photoshop or Quark.
- What if my uploaded photo doesn't have the correct orientation?
- Depending on your camera settings, some of the photos you upload may be too narrow, too wide, too tall, or too short. If you follow the instructions on the Photo Card page, you can adjust your photos to fit the card space perfectly. Remember; be sure to double check how the image looks before you finalize the order. We'll print it exactly how it looks.
